She has a specialised honours degree in psychology, a background in programming and law, and has over a quarter of a century of experience in digital marketing.

 

She is a regular speaker and trainer around the world on AI, a field she actively works in within the wine industry, technical SEO, content strategy, link building, and digital strategy within diverse industries. Judith wrote the Econsultancy Best Practice Guide to SEO.

She has worked with market-leading global businesses including Google, NatWest/RBS, National Gallery, Fidelity, GalaCoral, NBC Universal, Readers Digest, Bayer, Amadeus, AMD, AmEx, Virgin.com, Virgin Startup, LoveToKnow, Wicked Uncle, Zopa & more.

 

She sits on the board of directors for the Academy of Chocolate, a not-for-profit focused on increasing awareness of and appreciation for fine chocolate. Her background in chocolate spans over a decade of education, careful study, and research, including visiting numerous production facilities as diverse as Amadei, Pierre Marcolini, Askinosie, and Hotel Chocolat and learning about production techniques. She the utilised that knowledge to further developher understanding of the finished product, while undertaking traditional wine tasting training to learn about tasting techniques and develop her scent library.

 

She is the head of technology on the WBA think tank situated within the Weinbauzentrum in Wädenswil, Switzerland. She spent years learning about wine production and growing in her home province of Ontario as well as around Europe. While she has no desire to make wine, she does help with wine selection for some restaurants. Judith has written about wine and tourism for a number of publications including the Huffington Post, and has a social presence at This Foodie Travels. She is also involved in judging a number of international wine awards and has her WSET level 3.
